 The Evening Shade theme is my first design from Pixel Theme Studio and offers two versions, one for WordPress and the other for the Joomla! cms. This design concept was originally developed for WordPress users because most themes that are available never offered much in a sense of providing a different style than the typical cookie-cutter designs that most are familiar with.
For Joomla users, there is a limited selection of "blogging" templates so another goal of mine was to create a new concept for the Joomla cms geared towards sophisticated bloggers. What is special about this is that this template offers fewer scripts and fewer "eye-candy" styled elements (which most really do not want). The other great feature which I added is full height equal columns which means the bottom of each will be flush with the other, giving real full heights which most familiar with html will know standard html doesn't have this ability.
