Pixel Linear

The new Pixel Linear theme is my next level of developing ideas with more features and more
functionality. Pixel Linear is designed to give a nice clean and linear feel to your web site or
blog and will definitely increase your popularity as a professional whether you are running
a large corporate business, or simply blogging day-to-day.

You may be surprised to hear that this theme offers the end-user the ability to customize its
colour styles almost with an unlimited level of ability by using a special colour picker that I
incorporated into the theme's own settings. Even some of the graphical elements
are customizable, for example, don't like the angled top and bottom images
on posts or widgets? Easy to disable those...don't want the
social networking bar? Easy, disable it! For the menu,
I used a dropline menu because it just fit the
linear design better but does have some
limitations.  Joomla Demo   WordPress Demo

Very nice theme. Some extra documentation would be nice to save time learning by trial and also to describe if the theme is compatible with some of more popular plug-ins. Also can't manage to make the Linkedin link work.... and the Tweeter button is a link (would be nice to be a retweet button instead).
Looking forward for Layers theme.

I'm thinking about using the Pixel Linear WordPress theme...

For layouts on the home page, you can use any of the page template layouts by doing the WP static front page method and gives you flexibility. It's easier with Joomla because all layout possibilties (with any template theme) is achieved with a single template, but WP does it with separate files.

I'm thinking about using the Pixel Linear WordPress theme on my website because I love the array of layout options and it seems easy to customize. However, I do have one question: Are there only the two options (half-and-half and the standard option) for the home page, or is it possible to use one of the other custom layouts for the home page? I ask because I do have some ads and sidebar widgets that I want accessible on the home page as well as on inside pages. Thanks!

I am wondering if the header`s height could be changed - from 960pxx300px to something like 960px x 200px ???

You should be able to. I've seen a few sites already with different height images and slideshows too.

Does the latest release of Pixel Linear ...

Good question, actually if you do a very dark or black header, the menu link colour won't change so you would need to do it from the style sheet. Good idea though about that colour option. I will have to keep that in mind for my next theme here. You can change the links in the page content itself though. I think I will add that option for the main menu colour in the redesign of the Visionary theme (which I am working on at this moment).

Does the latest release of Pixel Linear have the ability to change the text colour as well as the background colours on the different elements of pages from the Theme-Options in the administration section.

Example: if I change the Header Background to #000000 will the menu still be invisible because it is Black as well.
